MS NAACP 67th State Convention & Policy Institute (Local)

 

The MS- NAACP annual state convention is regarded as an essential event for those engaged in civil rights advocacy and social justice in the state of Mississippi. During workshops, plenary sessions, and meal functions, convention attendees receive information from national subject area experts and engage in policy dialogues directly with statewide policy makers in the areas of civic engagement, criminal justice, economic empowerment, education and health.  We expect hundreds of Mississippians to convene in Olive Branch during November to share models for civil rights advocacy and strengthening local communities.
